Kyaw Stainless, a leading manufacturer and supplier in Naypyidaw, Myanmar, offers high-quality AWS Class E317L-16 Electrodes designed for welding molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steels. With a strong commitment to precise manufacturing and adherence to international standards, Kyaw Stainless ensures its products provide excellent performance and long life. The E317L-16 electrodes are specially crafted to deliver exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chemical damage, making them ideal for industries such as chemical processing, marine, and pharmaceuticals. Kyaw Stainless continues to meet Myanmar’s industrial welding needs through innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
AWS Class E317L-16 Electrodes have an approximate composition of chromium (18-20%), nickel (12-14%), molybdenum (3-4%), and low carbon (<0.04%) to reduce carbide precipitation. Mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 600 MPa, yield strength near 400 MPa, and elongation of 35%. The weld deposit provides strong corrosion resistance in chloride-rich and acidic environments. The low-carbon design helps avoid intergranular corrosion, while the addition of molybdenum boosts resistance to pitting and crevice attack.

Robust resistance to corrosion and are designed for welding 317L stainless steel. They typically come in sizes ranging from 2.5 mm to 4.0 mm in diameter. Their light coating ensures ease of handling and a smooth welding arc.
Enhanced protection against corrosion, these electrodes are ideal for welding 317L stainless steel under demanding conditions. They are available in diameters of 3.2 mm to 5.0 mm, with a thicker coating for increased durability and stability during welding.
Superior corrosion resistance and are suited for welding stainless steel in environments requiring high protection. Available in sizes from 2.5 mm to 4.0 mm, they offer reliable performance with a shielded arc to prevent contamination and oxidation.
AWS Class E317L-16 Electrodes find extensive applications in chemical processing, marine engineering, and pharmaceutical industries. They are best suited for welding pressure vessels, piping systems, and tanks that are exposed to extremely corrosive environments, especially those with chlorides and sulfuric acid. AWS Class E317L-16 Electrodes are also used in food processing equipment, desalination plants, and offshore structures where higher corrosion resistance is needed. Their low carbon levels reduce intergranular corrosion, and they are thus a favorite for use in applications that demand higher mechanical strength and durability.
