This balanced composition ensures excellent corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability. Mechanically, Stainless Steel 304 offers a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. The alloy maintains its toughness and ductility across a wide temperature range, providing dependable performance in both cryogenic and elevated-temperature conditions.
