Leading stainless steel consumables producer in Naypyidaw, Myanmar, Kyaw Stainless presents AWS Class ER317L SAW and Flux, specifically created for submerged arc welding of molybdenum-bearing stainless steels. These fillers are specifically formulated to offer greater pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in aggressive chemical environments. Made with the latest technology and strict quality assurance, Kyaw Stainless offers superior weld metal cleanliness, smooth surface finish, and dependable corrosion performance. ER317L SAW and Flux find extensive application in chemical processing, marine, and pulp and paper industries where maximum corrosion protection is essential.
ER317L has chromium (18–20%), nickel (12–14%), molybdenum (3–4%), and low carbon (<0.04%) for superior corrosion resistance. The weld metal has tensile strength of approximately 600 MPa, yield strength of approximately 400 MPa, and 35% elongation. Low carbon helps reduce carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion, and the addition of molybdenum enhances resistance to chloride attack and acid corrosion. When used with flux, the filler exhibits smooth bead contours, superior slag detachability, and high deposition efficiency.
