Kyaw Stainless, a leading stainless steel welding consumables producer in Naypyidaw, Myanmar, provides AWS Class ER347 SAW and Flux combinations for submerged arc welding of stabilized austenitic stainless steels. These solutions provide excellent weld quality, finish on bead, and corrosion resistance intergranular. Kyaw Stainless guarantees proper alloy balance and compatibility with all grades of stainless steel. ER347 SAW and Flux are suitable for applications in severe industries that require durability and consistent performance in high temperature applications, including manufacturing of petrochemical, food processing, and power generation equipment.
ER347 wires are alloyed with chromium (18–20%), nickel (9–11%), and niobium/columbium (8–10×C minimum) to provide stabilization against carbide formation. Typical mechanical properties are tensile strength of approximately 600 MPa, yield strength of about 400 MPa, and elongation of about 35%. The weld metal has superior resistance to intergranular corrosion, oxidation, and scaling at high temperatures. With the proper flux, ER347 has a smooth bead appearance, low spatter, and easy slag removal, providing superior performance in submerged arc processes.

Used for submerged arc welding of stainless steel, offering high resistance to intergranular corrosion, excellent strength, and a clean, slag-free weld for high-temperature applications.
Designed for submerged arc welding of stainless steel, providing strong, durable welds with high resistance to intergranular corrosion and a clean, efficient finish.
Provides excellent arc stability and a clean, slag-free weld. It enhances corrosion resistance and weld quality for high-temperature and stainless steel applications.
AWS Class ER347 SAW and Flux have extensive applications in high-strength, corrosion-resistant welds-demanding industries. It is usually applied in petrochemical and food processing industry pressure vessel, heat exchanger, chemical tank, and piping system fabrication. It is welded for stainless steel boiler parts and superheater tubes in power plants. Marine and shipbuilding industries use it for structural high-strength welding in seawater environments. Its stable composition avoids carbide precipitation, which makes it perfect for welding with high resistance to intergranular corrosion and long-term exposure to high temperatures.
AWS Class ER347 SAW and Flux are specifically suited for welding stabilized stainless steels 321 and 347 used in heat exchangers, boilers, pressure vessels, and exhaust systems. They are widely used in petrochemical, power plant, and food processing equipment. The stabilized composition does not undergo carbide precipitation and retains corrosion resistance after long-term exposure to high temperatures. ER347 provides excellent weld appearance and mechanical strength, an ideal application for massive automated fabrication where consistency and reliability are needed.
