Stainless Steel 310/310S Forged Fittings are mainly made up of chromium (24–26%), nickel (19–22%), carbon (≤0.25% for 310 and ≤0.08% for 310S), manganese (≤2%), and silicon (≤1.5%), along with small amounts of phosphorus and sulfur. The high levels of chromium and nickel provide excellent resistance to oxidation, while the lower carbon content in 310S helps reduce carbide precipitation during welding. In terms of mechanical properties, these fittings boast a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. They maintain their structural integrity and strength even at high temperatures.
