High-quality AWS Class ER316LSi MIG and TIG Filler Welding Wires and Rods are manufactured by Kyaw Stainless, a well-known manufacturer and supplier based in Naypyidaw, Myanmar. These fillers are famous for their superior weldability and excellent arc stability and are recommended for joining molybdenum-bearing stainless steels. With sophisticated production methods and global quality control, Kyaw Stainless guarantees every batch to have uniform chemical composition, excellent corrosion resistance, and excellent bead appearance. ER316LSi wires and rods are commonly used in food processing, marine, and chemical applications where high pitting and crevice corrosion resistance is necessary.
AWS Class ER316LSi filler wires have 17–19% chromium, 12–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, 0.65–1.0% silicon, and <0.03% carbon to avoid the precipitation of carbides. The mechanical properties are tensile strength of approximately 580 MPa, yield strength of 400 MPa, and elongation of about 35%. The increased silicon content enhances arc stability, bead wetting, and fluidity, resulting in smooth, shiny surfaces on the welds. The weld metal possesses superior corrosion resistance in chloride and acid environments and thus is qualified for applications requiring higher mechanical and metallurgical performance.
