This tubing is made up of about 22–24% chromium, 12–15% nickel, and a higher carbon content (up to 0.12%) compared to standard 309, along with trace amounts of manganese, silicon, and phosphorus, with iron making up the rest. With a tensile strength of around 515 MPa and a yield strength of about 205 MPa, it also boasts excellent ductility and can withstand oxidation up to 1000°C.
