SS 422 Sheets and Plates are martensitic stainless steels primarily made up of iron, chromium (12–14%), carbon (0.15–0.25%), along with trace amounts of manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur. With a tensile strength ranging from 620–850 MPa, it also boasts good toughness and wear resistance, making it perfect for heat-treated applications.
