Stainless Steel 310/310S Sheets and Plates consist of chromium (24–26%), nickel (19–22%), carbon (≤0.25% for 310 and ≤0.08% for 310S), manganese (≤2%), and silicon (≤1.5%), along with trace amounts of phosphorus and sulfur. The high levels of chromium and nickel ensure excellent resistance to oxidation and scaling at temperatures reaching up to 1100°C. In terms of mechanical properties, they boast a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. The 310S grade, which has a lower carbon content, enhances weldability and minimizes the risk of carbide precipitation during exposure to high temperatures.
